The 2017 GHRA Trade show was confronted in Houston three days before the event by a massive weather event that we won’t soon forget: Hurricane Harvey.

Our exhibitors and guests faced the disappointment of the cancelled event with a positive attitude as all of Houston and the entire gulf coast area banded together to start the recovery process.  Houston’s NRG Stadium & Event Center served as a shelter during the weather event for those who were driven out of their homes and cities.  Therefore, GHRA had no place to hold the Trade Show – even with the most optimistic estimates for the city’s recovery – the NRG Event Center was still occupied.

GHRA was able to reschedule the event on November 1st  ultimately becoming one of our most successful events for our members and all the exhibitors.
